"Fans demand far more" - this is the one that really annoys me I'm afraid

Cos, well, its cobblers...most people I know thought a reasonable expectation for this season wasn't finishing top or top 2, not even 4th or 5th - instead they expected us to challenge for a play in the play-offs (maybe succeeding, maybe falling just short, but challenging nevertheless)

In what way is this different from the expectation levels of, say, 5 years ago, or even 10 years ago?
