advice needed

applied for a job a couple of weeks ago that I really wanted, got the application in on time and everything. Thing is I think I have been rejected, although the interviews are next week. Just wondering what the best way to go about finding out if I have been successful or not - as Im in London tomorrow going for a job which isnt as good as the one Im waiting to hear from.

Should I email the woman or just leave it...? If so, how do I structure it?
