A mate lent me a book a few years ago

Potted histories of every player ever to play for Norwich. Reading through, I was stunned just how many lads were schoolboy internationals, U-20 Internationals, U21 Internationals etc etc, played a few reserve games or made a couple of sub appearances, and then either dropped out of league football altogether or ended up scraping around in Div 3.

So many obviosuly talented players who, for one reason or another, just didn't make it.
