now this kind of depends on the timing of Oldham's request...

but could have been we already had 2 strikers out on loan and Dublin or Brown was injured, along with Earnie

or if it was a case of we had loads of fit strikers and only 2 of Henderson, Jarvis snr and Thorne can go on loan the club would get most benefit out of sending the 2 youngsters out and hopefully them getting to play games and improve on their return

sending Thorne out would only really have benefitted us if Oldham had agreed to pay a fee and probably all of his wages
