Fedora? Linux derivative isn't it?

I don't know it; but I believe Matlab is used in many commercial systems - supposedly very fast, although written in Fortran if memory serves.

I'm a C++er and keep meaning to have a look at Objective C and writing something useful for the Mac. But too lazy really ...

What do you do? If you're a PhD and know a bit about mathematical modelling, they're looking for people here. We use Windows & C++ though ...
