Indeed; tragic

Drug taking in pro-cycling has been around almost since it started. An incredible sport though: Le Tour has to be the singlest most demanding event in the whole of sport. It makes drug taking almost mandatory (indeed, that's Kimmage's point). I love to watch it in the mountains - that's when it's at its most extreme. I remember when Riise broke Indurain: twice he broke away and Big Mig clawed his way back to his shoulder; but the third time was too much for him. Of course, it turned out, Riise was no stranger to the needle ...
