But that seems light on processor speed, disk and RAM. RAM's relatively cheap, but you should try to get good quality - I just got 2x1GB from Crucial who have a great reputation: User Posted Link
You can probably drop a larger disk drive in there as well, but you need to be careful (see below); but if you have a FireWire or USB2 port then 100+GB external drives are cheap for storing the por ..., er, music and backups.
Apart from that though, laptop upgrades are generally difficult because the components are packed in and often more expensive than their tower equivalents. Heat is likely to be the biggest problem: a faster processor and/or disk drive can make it run much hotter, which can cause crashes.
Decent games need a bit of ooomph - FM's not so graphics intensive, but in my experience it starts to use up memory pretty fast after a couple of seasons.
