I used to work in retail and now work in education and in both I've been paid to a national pay structure which means if you are fortunate enough to live up north then you can have a very comfortable life but in the south of England you can just about afford to pay the bills. It bugs me that people in London are given a weighting because it is expensive where they live, I mean fair do's to them but what about everyone else?
