It worries me how short-sighted people are

when they criticise me and others like me for being negative, 'not a true supporter' etc. for pointing out that yesterday is nothing to get excited about. Of course I did not want City to lose. Of course I am a true supporter (and have been for 40 years!). That's exactly why I want a 'root and branch' clearout and reorganisation of the club, at least as far as the playing side is concerned.

Limping from one week to the next, celebrating a win over non-league opposition in which only 4 or 5 players looked better than theirs will not get us anywhere. We avoided an upset but that hides nothing.

Don't accuse me and others like me of being negative because we care about the real future of our club, not just next week. In fact, it's those of you who think all we have to do is win, keep Earnshaw and say things like 'City till I die!' and 'Get behind your team!' etc etc who deserve criticism because you appear to be blind to the appalling failings of our club on the football side in the last three years.others like me
