However we should try to encourage African countries

to facilitate :

- clean water supplies

- drug supply for the ill - however people are being naive re Malaria. If people had seen the recent Horizon programme they would be aware that there is only 7 million doses annually of a drug that amazingly fights off Malaria very quickly yet there is a need for 100+ million doses a year !

- food supply (but bad governance can bugger up a country just look at Zimbabwe)

- infrastructure development, health, education and transport links
