a significant part of Africa's problems is down to bad governance

Zimbabwe (formerly known as Rhodesia) use to be the "bread basket" of the area. Under Mr M. they can't feed their own people. I understand that South Africa supplies alot of electricity to Zimbabwe but will not "pull the plug" on those supplies. The leader of Namibia (formerly known as South West Africa) sits by on the side lines.....

Zaire (formerly known as Congo, Belgian Congo) - why do you think there is a war going on in the south east part of the country ? Various factions are fighting over resources.
