He Won't Be Coming Here...

Three reasons...

1. He can get a move to a Prem club, or, at the very least, a CCC club with a better than average chance of promotion this season (eg) Birmingham, Derby, Saints, all have money to spend and infinitely better prospects.

2. We can't afford him. Southend will be looking for at least ?5 Million-OK, they might not get that, but they'll still look to get at least ?3-?3.5 Million plus add on's, and we can't afford that. Our January signings will be in the ?250'000-?500'000 maximum bracket.

3. He won't want to come here and they certainly wouldn't look to sell him to us.
