Genuine true story.

My mum was a school teacher and as is quite common with female teachers used to get occasional prank calls at home (never went ex-directory, not sure why not).

One she got disturbed her though, and she got the police involved. The caller had said in a deep breathy voice "ooh, I've got a lovely package of warm meat for you, madam".

The seargant taking her statement paused when she said this and then said "Yes madam. And can you tell me who your butcher is?"

Mum being Mum she found it really funny...

I just hope they're recruiting brighter coppers these days...
