He was given more money than any NCFC manager in history

and signed a whole load of crap for decent money and put them on high wages (for their ability).

The Board's only fault was in not sacking him sooner and giving him all the money to spent. Frightening they were about to give him another ?2m a couple of months before he was sacked.
