I agree. On his day, Hucks can destroy teams. But he's getting older, more easilly read, and getting slower. Assuming the parachute payments dry up, should the Board invest in Earnie or Hucks (if he wont take Championship money)?
I'd go with buying a striker to play closer to Earnie (assuming he stays), rather than a left winger who can't defend and costs us Premiership wages every week.
So sorry to say this, Hucks has been brilliant, but we must prepare to operate at a Championship wage bill.
