Just got back from Stoke and I have never been so f**king pissed off with a Norwich City performance at this level. It was f**king disgrace to say the least. However, I do feel a scoreline of 5-0 flattered Stoke somewhat and that we didn't play that badly.
Ashdown didn't impress me and I thought his sending off was an embarasssment. I wouldn't really care if Grant sent him back to Portsmouth tommorow; I also feel sorry for Paul Gallacher who came on and gave a good perfomance and like his predocessor, was let down badly by a shambolic defence.
After what I have seen today, it is blatently obvious that a few players have to be moved on and some better ones bought in to replace them. Top of my list would be Gary Doherty who once again produced another performance which showed why I have never rated him a Norwich shirt - he was woeful to say the least. Fleming was too slow and is too old; I admire his commitment to the cause, but it is painfully obvious he has done all he can for this football club. Andy Hughes would be next on the list followed by Dion Dublin and Peter Thorne. Dublin tried today, but didn't do enough to prove he was worth bringing in.
There was no excuse for the shower of s**t I shelled out ?19 of my student loan to watch.
I'm off out to get f**king pissed and provide myself with some decent entertainment.
