Truth is that it's almost impossible to know who is going to succeed at football management and who isn't but our Board haven't taken the easy or cheap route and they've obviously given it serious thought. As you say, he's got serious credentials and although he could well turn out to be a complete failure (as indeed any manager could) he is well worth a try. Let's all get behind him and the Board for trying to get the best possible.
