Dave Stringer

In all the commentary I've heard in the last few days the most sensible views I've heard are from Dave Stringer. I'm sure it won't happen but for a man whose blood is green and yellow the best thing Delia could do would be to offer him a place on the board. This week has only served to emphasise the woeful lack of football knowledge on the present board. And what has frightened me even nore is all this emotion shown by Delia and Mr. Delia. They're supposed to be running a business for goodness sake. Rule No 1 for anyone running a business is not to get emotionally attached to the people managing the business for you. I know we like to portray this 'nice, friendly club' attitude but it's still a business.
