I find 19th century political history fascinating, tbh!

Unless you've picked the Schleswig-Holstein secession to study I'm surprised you're bored by it!

The History of Ideas is where it's at for me - ended up dominating my undergrad degree, although I did my MA in Literature and Film.

As for football journalism, I think Duke of York is the man to talk to on here - I do quite a bit of journalism myself, but it's mostly on film, occasionally literature - I'd like to write more on football myself, but at the moment it's limited to biting, sarcastic match reports (and not many of those right now tbh).
