I'm not quite sure this works

and not being a mathematician I can't quite explain why, but in essence it stands to reason that there will be a higher percentage of spend on the more succesful players as they were, initially, more expensive players. Surely you have to apply some sort of weighting in these calculations? btw I'm not picking fault deliberately as there's a lot I agree with (though I wouldn't personally put Leon in the successes, and Ashton's biggest success was in making us a profit as ultimately his contribution mattered diddly sqauttity do on the pitch).
