we all make mistakes. I made a mistake. And if you look hard enough, you may find a fifth player signed by Walker, which means you also make mistakes. Gosh, how incredible.

The extra million quid came from two players who were signed the season before Walker came back (so even Martin O'Neill was give a million to spend on players, the season when we were 90 minutes from bankruptcy - allegedly)

My original point was that NW's spending has not been as profligate as people make out.

The 2.5 million spent by Walker was when the club was turning over some 7 mill p.a turnover; as the club are now turning over some 12-14 mill p.a then it is only natural that NW will spend more on transfers.
