To be fair though....

It does sound like it sums up our attitude towards transfers...

I remember seeing Worthington said something about going after Eastwood, but Southend said he wasnt for sale and we respected that...

Excuse me!!!! Of course they wont want to sell him, but you be brave about it, and give them a figure they have to really consider, the price we were going to pay for Cotterill would have made Southend seriously consider selling Eastwood, if they wanted to or not.

We still have to much of a softly softly, dont want to put anyones noses out approach when it comes to tranfers imo.
