Why is it pointless

The fact is we don't need one big money signing at the moment, particularly when he appears to play in the Hucks/Croft role. We needed 3 or 4 players to give the squad a more balanced look.

he may well be brilliant but the fact is he's one for the furture and not this season. This season is the be all and end all for us because if we don't go up you can kiss goodbye to earnie and I have my doubts as to whether Hucks will be kept on!
