Blackburn's Kuqi to miss Poland qualifier

Blackburn Rovers' Finnish striker Shefki Kuqi will miss Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Poland due to lack of transfer negotiations, Finland's Football Association said on Thursday.

"I will go and see what the situation is with an open mind. There are no several options available," Kuqi said in a statement without any clubs involved.

Kuqi, who has not been much use at Blackburn, will return to Finland.
