if you buy promising young palyers like Ashton you stand an excellent chance of getting your money back or even making a healthy profit. If you sign has-been and never-weres (Worthy's preferred options) you are throwing money down the drain. So they are just vetoing Worthy's suggested targets in the hope that he will eventually switch his attention to someone under the age of about 28.
