I wasn't suggesting he's not a good player

He's incredibly consistent and against opposition up to a certain point of quality is devastating - he scores every week, and that deserves acknowledgment no doubt - see graeme hick. My problem is that in the biggest games, against really top class teams, at least when I've seen him for England, he doesn't look like he's going to turn a game, make something from nothing, be the difference that wins it - he's very good, but not great - if you're pretty likely to win anyway, he's your man, probably get a hat trick. But in a huge game ... I'd far rather have Bellingham in the team for example.
