anyone managed to run their heating system for profit?

now the mercury has dropped i'm on the cusp of having an unvented hot water storage tank installed following the consecutive failure of 4 new electric hot water pumps and have gone down the internet rabbit hole this morning of; ground source heat pumps/solar panels/exploitation of time of use tariffs and battery storage and reading accounts of some people actually making a working profit from doing so. anyone on here actually done that?
