I think we always tell ourselves we have a better squad this time

and then it turns out to be not as good as we convinced ourselves it was.

Anderson is an upgrade. Kane is 4 years older, who knows what state he'll be in by the knockouts. Is Gordon an upgrade on what we had? Stones in current form? Will James still be able to run by the KOs, and if not who plays there? Will Saka actually be fit in this tournament?

Not at all convinced we're better than 4 years ago. We'll see.
