Haha Webb actually went down the ‘football expects’ route

Referees' boss Howard Webb spoke to Forest to explain that while there could be justifiable reasons to judge this was not handball, a better decision, and one that would be expected, is for it to be disallowed.


So basically while the ref would be ok to allow it, it would be better had he disallowed it, because football very much expected it to be disallowed yesterday. I do appreciate him clearing it up 😂
