I’m an accidental landlord.

I bought my mum and dad’s house to try to help them through a sticky time, just before Covid. Interest only mortgage. Original tenants were great. Subsequent ones not so. Mortgage tripled in price (thanks Liz). Can’t get a buyer at the moment. Even if I rent at top market value I literally lose £100 a week.
