once it’s underway isn’t inconsistent with the policy we've followed in the past. To claim UK assets are under no more threat than 48 hours ago is clearly false. UK jets were scrambled from RAF Akrotiri in response to a suspected Iranian drone attack, other UK military and civilian personnel are scattered across The Gulf where attacks are occurring.
