but at least PP owns his support of him.

The other one purports to be averse to his politics but has no interest whatsoever in acknowledging the trauma his comments cause. He'd just rather argue for the sake of it and make up a load of old guff about Trump as a master tactician.

Alternatively he *does* think Trump is a master tactician, so he's not necessarily that averse to him after all.

It's one of the the other.
