I don’t think we will but I think we can

The way we played with more confidence in the second half, they seemed like different players. First and second half were night and day. It’s early days for Clement but I think - or at least I hope - that he can turn the lack of confidence around. I really think there are better performances in this team. Look at Southampton, where did they think wins were coming from? They’ve just won four in a row. I liked a lot of what I saw in the second half today, apart from the last ten minutes. I don’t know, it seems promising and I’m just trying to manifest it. If I think it enough, maybe it’ll happen.

Or maybe we’ll have a post-January renaissance after buying a talented goalscorer but go on to lose 6-0 on the final day of the season when all we need to do is draw 0-0 to stay up. That can’t happen twice though, can it?
