but it all feels like he's here to find out whether Knapper and Ward believe Manning can turn it around, and if not, what their proposal is. Much as I'd love to think he's arriving with the axe, he's probably more concerned about having his team in place to expand the ground and review the expected returns on that compared to the losses of relegation. And a few platitudes on Canary Call about how it's a period of rebuilding, this is what happens in takeovers, yadiyadiya, right people in place.
I'm hoping that I'm going to be proved wrong.
