who are playing in the Championship this season. So no not just based on performance to date this season. For me comparing to previous seasons when the competing teams and playing squads were different is flawed.

Admittedly this is a subjective approach as tends to be any option when trying to predict the future. But that is my preference and clearly you have a contrary approach which is also fine.
