Do you really think he has us massively under performing though?

I understand the points around tactics and yeah, we are light in midfield.

BUT.....adding Kenny / Wright to Topic and Mattsson isn't suddenly going to give us a wonderfully creative midfield. Diallo is injured now, but his contribution in the final third hasn't been great even when he's had a chance to run at a full back.

What would the line-up look like if we played a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1?

Would it not still be packed full of mediocre players plus Sargent?

I'm not convinced it will come good for Manning, his reign has a whiff of the Dean Smith era about it already. For whatever reason a lot of fans seem to have a strong dislike for the guy, a bit unjustifiably in my opinion, much like in the case of Dean Smith.
