Def Leppard in 1979 at the LCR and then Cromwells on Edward

Street used to have a rock night once a week with three bands on... loads of up and coming rock acts... Girlschool, Tygers of Pang Tang, etc, etc.

Also West Runton Pavilion was a big draw for bands looking for a pre tour venue. Incredibly saw Blue Oyster Cult there, and Ozzy prior to his first solo tour. Many others.
