I would be more patient if i could see the method in what we are doing

As i said before, you could see it with Farke and although he came close to the edge after that defeat at home to Leeds, there was enough good stuff going on for fans to be able to find a reason for a bit of patience.

I actually felt the same with JHT and whilst maybe his reign had to end due to man management issues (maybe it didn't) it was noticeable that the fans did not turn on him as they have done with some other coaches. I could not really argue with his sacking but by the same token i was not desperate for it. For me this was because we looked a technically good, well coached side for long periods in games. We were able to control possession and it was really individual errors that were undermining things. Yes, its a fair accusation that we perhaps needed to be a bit more pragmatic at times to reduce those errors but we had an identity.

If i look at this season, the only real highlights in terms of the way we've played have been good individual displays from the keeper or defenders showing bravery or last ditch defending. yes we've had a couple of good away wins but we've not played really well in a single game so far and even in the games we have won we've played badly for long spells, nearly let the opposition back in it and had to rely on individual displays at the back to seal the wins. Our quality on the ball has been non-existent.

That's the worry for me with manning. I just don;t see or have anything to cling to from the displays so far to persuade me that we are suddenly going to improve to the extent we need to.
