And you are correct in saying many of those protesting have had no interactions with migrants, they are responding to stories of rape and crime elsewhere.
Is the media right wing controlled these days? Nobody buys a physical newspaper these days so the power the Sun once yielded is vastly reduced.
Many people no longer rely on traditional news sources anyway.
I think anybody capable of independent thought can come to the conclusion that paying people to live in hotels does not make them contributors! Parasites is a harsh term.
