Feel like there is more to it than we are bring told but most transfer fees are PR spin

It's a very convenient "look how good I am" story at a time when knapper really needs it. Provably not a coincidence. Combined with Connor's bit on what Norwich have to offer over other clubs in the pink un this week and it feels like the club are giving it a big PR push to change fan mood.

Ultimately this only works if the signings do.
