Made the mistake of clicking on Tombs' thread from yesterday

Gentle request here - can people please dial back on the culture war guff on here?

Yes there's a range of political views.

And yes, there's controversy over trans participation in sport.

But some of the language and points scoring in that thread from decent posters, with usually constructive points, was pretty ugly.

There are members of this board from all walks of life and once you bring in families and friends please remember there are people you are discussing.

As a contrarian (and probably not the only one on the board) I'm in no way saying we all have to agree.

A little empathy doesn't cost anything. But it goes a long way.
