this is why i dont understand why people go online ...

and ask for recommendations on what bank /mobile phone / etc

Because you inevitably get good stories and bad stories why you should or should not use a certain company/brand which probably just muddy's water even more

and is there any real difference between the top 4 banks , if i was choosing a bank i would be looking at how easy it is to navigate the web page and or the app on your phone , how far to the nearest branch , but who goes into a actual bank today , and you really dont need to ask the world these questions

HSBC and the Midland before that ..App easy to use and the website is ok ... telephone banking a nightmare , nearest branch GY
