i wouldnt say that's universally true

Personally I think he isnt a great manager. He has a top 2 team going forward, but has lower champs level defenders, and didnt identify it and sort it for the new season.

His ingame management is poor.

He isnt great at psychologically preparing the team to deal with setbacks.

the team should have done a lot better than it has.

But I dont think any of that has changed, regardless of the wins or losses. He has got them more organised of late, despite still leaving the link between midfield and defence wanting, and results have reflected that. I'd replace him - i think if the Ipswich manager had this team we'd be above them. But he isnt downright awful.

It's not really about results for me, its about reaching potential of the squad.
