Noted regarding the dishwasher, there is a definitive male/female split

When my wife loads the dishwasher there seems to be a complete disregard on how they actually work. Loading things the wrong way round (cups ending up full of water) or stacking things, where it’s obvious it won’t clean.

Sometimes she will put in trays that directly obstruct the rotational blade.

I sometimes wonder if she thinks there is a little man in there who washes everything up by hand.

If I left it up to her there we would get through several dishwashers a year.
