years but nowadays players are so much stronger so use such heavy bats. Although back in the day you had players like gooch who used well over 3.5oz and Richards too but.

Only think with that is you look at someone like KP, he used (and not in the vets league) a really light bat and hits some of the greatest 6's ever.

Not sure what the answer is. They've introduced the different balls at either end but still the batsman has the advantage. Bring back the pea roller delivery - can't hit them for 6!
