The owners aren’t fit for purpose and haven’t really been for a decade or more.

That promotion under lambert (and three year PL stay) has allowed them to hide behind PL money which has made us artificially look like a bigger championship club (financially) than we really are.

I think it’s a shame as it seems ridiculous that there isn’t any such thing as a sustainably run self funding, Championship or PL club. But that’s where we are and we need to adapt.

Hopefully Attanasio will make a bit of difference
