buying first to get the new players in early

while we hung on and on prentending players like Helveg, Jonson & Francis were going to stay when they clearly weren't, just so we could get an extra ?100k or so in fees for them. Then when they finally DID go it was so late it was difficult to get decent replacements in (and to blend them into the team)
