Its going to really annoy me this year

If we start getting told we can't compete with the relegated clubs because of the resources and squads they have.

The club has used our relegation from the prem as an excuse for our pathetic season last season so they can't have it both ways.

This is exactly what we should have done last summer to give ourselves the best shot of getting back. Ok maybe ?3.4m is a bit excessive (and no doubt is using money from anticipated sales of Heskey/Forsell etc) but they are being pro-active and giving their fans a boost.
