A lot of that makes sense to me

Think I've seen him 5 times (maybe more) and I see a 70/80's style player getting stuck in and never shirking from a battle. You often see him subbed off late in a game limping off and I think "you should look after yourself playing like that".

I've also seen tough late tackles on him and he just gets up and gets on with it.

Then I hear all this stuff about him not doing anything.

I've seen it (slightly) from a different angle if he's not following the game plan.
Either way Rangers got a very good player for £1.5m.
