... as much as that school is, I recognise all the problems described and have seen them first hand. There is a lot of bad parenting, but quite a lot is down to the parents not able to cope with their own problems and not knowing how to parent, sometimes because they haven't been shown good examples themselves and sometimes because their issues affect their judgements, and this is reflected in their poor choice of priorities.
